  • What is property snagging?
    Property snagging refers to the process of thoroughly inspecting a property, identifying any defects, flaws, or unfinished work, and creating a detailed snagging report. It ensures that the property is in proper condition and meets the agreed-upon standards before handover or occupancy.
  • How long does a property snagging inspection typically take?
    The duration of a property snagging inspection varies depending on the size and complexity of the property. On average, a thorough inspection can take a few hours to a full day. However, it's important not to rush the process to ensure that all areas are adequately examined.
  • Do I need to be present during the snag inspection?
    No you don't need to be present, our engineer can complete the inspection and liaise with the developer and contractor on your behalf. However, we understand that it's an exciting time and it may be the first opportunity for you to see your new property, therefore if you want to pass by for a visit you are more than welcome.
  • How does payment work?
    You can pay by either bank transfer, credit card link, ATM deposit, whichever is more convenient for you.
  • When will my report be issued?
    This will depend on the size of your property and the number of snags detected, generally we always deliver the report within 12 working hours (but sometimes before 😉).
  • Does DEWA and utilities need to be connected?
    Yes, in order for us to complete thorough and full inspection all utilities must be connected. (DEWA, AC, Gas)
  • Do you snag properties in Abu Dhabi & other Emirates?
    Yes, we have snagged 100's of properties in Abu Dhabi and other Emirates. If you have a new property handing over please contact us to get started.

You will have to ensure your property is ready for the inspection, including DEWA and utilities connected. We will liaise with your developer on behalf and schedule your snag inspection accordingly. Once our inspection is completed you will receive your report via email within 12 hours.
